Modulimo inc.

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Modulimo inc. collects, uses, retains and protects your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information).

1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Modulimo inc. can be reached at contribution@modulimo.com for any question, access request, rectification or consent withdrawal.

2. Information collected

  • "Keep me informed" form: first name, last name, email and optional message, with your explicit consent.
  • Application form (/postuler): the information you voluntarily provide for the evaluation of your rental application.
  • Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4, only if you accept): pages viewed, device type, anonymized IP address.
  • Security metadata: when a form is submitted, an irreversible digital fingerprint (hash) of the IP address is kept to prevent abuse — never the IP address itself.

3. Purposes of collection

Your information is used only to: respond to your requests, keep you informed about the Pointe Est project, evaluate rental applications, measure site traffic and prevent abuse. Modulimo inc. does not sell your personal information. The application scoring is a decision-support tool: the final decision remains human.

4. Consent and withdrawal

Collection is based on your explicit consent (form checkbox, cookie banner). You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contribution@modulimo.com; your information will then be securely destroyed, subject to legal retention obligations.

5. Cookies and Google Analytics

Audience measurement is disabled by default. Google Analytics 4 is only loaded after you accept via the consent banner; if you decline, no measurement cookie is set. The IP address is anonymized. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be reset by clearing the site's browsing data.

6. Retention and destruction

Information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described. Personal information from refused, withdrawn or expired applications is destroyed no later than 12 months after the decision. Upon request, your information is securely and irreversibly destroyed.

7. Disclosure to third parties

Your information is only shared with the technical providers required to operate the site and forms: Supabase (secure data hosting), Resend (email delivery), GitHub Pages (site hosting) and Google (audience measurement, only with your consent). These providers may store data outside Quebec; contractual protections apply. No disclosure to third parties for commercial purposes.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if inaccurate or incomplete, and to withdraw your consent. Send your request to contribution@modulimo.com; we will respond within a maximum of 30 days.

If you are dissatisfied with how your request is handled, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Updates to this policy

Any change to this policy will be published on this page.
