Inter-modality is not about being "close to the metro". It is designing every trip as a fluid sequence — where each mode hands off to the next, without friction, without a personal car.


At Modulimo, that chain starts inside the building with the velomobiles and reaches the international airport via the REM.

Six modes, one account.

MaaS — Mobility as a Service — means bringing every transport service, public, shared or rented, together into a single offer. At Modulimo that offer has a name: CoHabitat, the app included with your home — for the share that belongs to the building.

Book in one place

Minivans, velomobiles and neighbour carpooling are booked from the same screen. The uses see one another: a velomobile already committed to a carpool trip does not show as free for that slot.

Pay from a single balance

No per-service subscription, no card to top up: a single balance, charged by usage time. The cost is shown before you confirm, and a cancellation made more than two hours ahead is refunded.

Getting you to the network, without selling the ticket

That is where inter-modality lies: shared mobility takes you to the network — STM terminus, East Train station, shuttle dock, REM station, airport. A velomobile to catch the bus, a minivan to head to the station four-up. The ticket itself is bought from its operator: Modulimo resells none of them.

Modulimo's inter-modal chain will be connected to the future Quebec-Toronto high-speed train. Just as Hydro-Québec set new standards by raising transmission voltage to 750 kV, the high-speed/high-frequency rail represents an opportunity to redefine intercity mobility in Quebec — and Modulimo will be on that network.
